Few things have changed my life like acupuncture. I put it in the same category as falling in love or learning to read. I can't tell you exactly how it works, aside from the fact that it balances out the imbalances in our lives. And who doesn't live an imbalanced life today? I only know that I walk in each week with problems I haven't  been able to cure for years, and walk out an hour later already feeling immense relief. I'm talking about the kinds of injuries-physical and emotional- that I sought doctors' and psychologists" opinions about, only to learn that there was nothing to be done about them, and that I was told I'd better get used to. These are the same symptoms that acupuncture is peeling away each week like the layers of an onlion, leaving me with more energy, better balance in my emotions, and a greatly enhanced quality of life. Acupuncture is one of the chief proofs in my life that the universe is a friendly, supportive place that encourages each of us to thrive and flourish.

Of course, it's impossible to deeply realize the benefits of acupuncture without a master practitioner. Teresa is everything you could want in a healer: kind, generous, wise, wickedly funny, modest, and most of all, truly passionate about her work. I lucked out in finding her, and I tell anyone who mentions an interest in anything Eastern about her. I tell them the same thing I'd tell you: that your're lucky if you happen to live nearby.

I came to acupuncture not so nuch convinced I wanted to be needled, as I was positive I didn't want more surgery for a pinched nerve.

I never expected that acupuncture, as practiced by Teresa Berger would turn my life around. In six months, I dropped 35 pounds and have kept it off. My energy level has soared. I've regained dexterity in my hand that I thought was forever lost, and the swelling and debilitating pain in my forearm are gone. My recovery is an ongoing process and I am achineving balance in my life.

Teresa is an unusually caringing practioner who understands the art of healing- it is a privilege having her look after my heaalth, both body and soul.
